It is official, I am in the final stretch, the last trimester before my baby comes. In many ways I feel great. My energy level is high. I feel strong, flexible and tight thanks to an exercise routine of cycling, yoga and kegels. I am nourished by delicious food (my pregnancy cravings has been for all things blue) and my body feels so good to be inside. I know I am one of the lucky ones, because the only time I have puked during my pregnancy was during a particularly intense deep throating session. Even though pregnancy looks smooth, round and easy on the outside it is truly the hardest work I have ever done. It is in this way that the reproductive labor of pregnancy shares a lot with the labor of sex work. If you are doing it ‘right’ it looks sexy, fun, joyous,easy and not like work at all. When, in fact, it is some of the hardest work to do and even harder to succeed at. I just wanted to plant that seed, so that if you feel so inspired you might say or do something nice for a birthing person or sex worker in your life.

Another important birthdate is coming up and that is my own! I am turing 37 on March 14th and phewy has it been a year.
