Second skin
Leather, Power, and the Art of Embodiment
The first time I zipped into these leather pants, it was in a sun-drenched boutique in Mexico City. The saleswoman smiled knowingly, as if she understood the transformative magic of this second skin. At the time, they represented everything I loved about my body: its strength, its sensuality, its unapologetic presence. But life, as it does, expanded me. A baby, a different pace, a body transformed—not broken, not “ruined,” but something new.
Lauren Berlant writes about “the affective life of objects,” how they hold not just utility but also emotional resonance. For me, these leather pants are more than just clothing; they’re a reminder of a version of myself I thought I might never see again. And while I don’t believe women should be pressured to “shapeshift” back to their pre-baby selves, slipping into these pants again was like a rerun of an old lover—familiar, thrilling, a moment of embodied joy.
Embodiment is a powerful thing, especially in the realm of femdom and BDSM. To control, to command, to inhabit your body fully while inviting someone else to experience it in their own way—this is the essence of my work. It’s a genre of filmmaking that’s too often dismissed, but I see it as deeply artistic. Pornography, like all art, is about affect. It’s about producing sensations, emotions, reactions. It’s about making you jizz in your pants, yes—but it’s also about the exquisite tension of power dynamics, the interplay of dominance and submission, and the narrative of longing that exists in the POV frame
.
My latest video celebrates this interplay. It’s intimate, commanding, and designed to draw you into my world—a world where leather feels like a second skin, where Chanel whispers power, and where the finest lace reveals and conceals in perfect measure. It’s a celebration of the body as an expressive tool, a medium of art and desire.
And so, as I stand in these leather pants once more, I think about how much my body has given me: life, power, joy, and the ability to create spaces where you can lose yourself, even for just a little while. That’s the magic of embodiment—and the magic of this genre we call pornography.
